“Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light”
Ian has been sleeping a lot for the past eight months. But God has been his light in his sleep as well as in his waking hours. The Lord is still His light and his salvation, so whom shall he fear? The Lord is the stronghold of his life, of whom shall he be afraid?

We spent some time worshipping with Ian tonight and he seemed very relaxed during our time with him.

Thank you for praying.

Larissa

  1. i love you.
and two days is too long.

  2. DOn’t we sing a song with the refrain, “Waking or sleeping thy vision, my light”. (I pretty much never get tunes or words correctly, works for me though). I just am thankful (most times, anyway) that he is our vision, our peace, our all in all. No wonder Ian was peaceful during worship, music is a wonderful gift from God. My latest worship was a refrain from a U2 song, in the name of love. I am with Livi in the name of love, and Jesus also died for me in the name of love. Works for me. GLA
P.S. If I just wrote the same thing yesterday, please delete this. After 98 days, conversations are becoming somewhat repititious!

  3. Larissa,

You and the Murphys are in my thoughts a lot. I continue to pray for you all and Ian. It is so exciting to read about how much progress he’s made since he got home!

Hey, the picture of our family group at New Attitude turned out great, and I’m going to e-mail it to you when I get a spare minute to pull it off my camera. I can’t tell you how encouraged I was to meet you and hear your testimoney and get to know you a bit! It encouraged me to press all the more into praying for you!

    Love in Christ,

    Michelle from Covenant Fellowship
