“…for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need: I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”

You are a gift from God to all of us. He continues to use you in wonderful ways to draw us closer to Him. Every time I read one of your entries, I am encouraged in faith, and I am only one of hundreds, thousands, probably, who have been helped by what you have written and by the faith that you share with everyone. You are not afraid to tell us of your struggles and griefs as well as the triumphs that the Lord has given you. Thank you. You are in my prayers every day, Ian, Steve, Mary, Larissa, Ben, Caleb, Devon, and Lydia.

The Lord so greatly encouraged me through this passage just recently (actually the whole Chapter 4 of Philippians). It was nice to read this reminder again today as I prayed for Ian and all of you, knowing that we can do all things through Jesus who gives us strength in any and all circumstances.
In His love,
