I was reading Larissa’s post on this blog from April 14th (just 5 days ago), and a couple of her comments got my attention: Ian wanted prayer that he would be able to think clearly and logically and that his memory would improve, because it affects how he communicates to us. I went back to April 14th from two years ago and these were the things that were notable then for publishing on the blog:

  • He had his eyes open when she visited…it had been a few days since she had seen him do that.
  • He put his hand in a gift bag and pulled out the tissue paper and gift. It was so exciting to see him do something so functional, she said!
  • He reached for her arm.
  • He slept more than he was awake.
  • He seemed to be aware of what was going on around him.

The Lord has been kind to us to spare Ian’s life and to restore him to us as much as He has, and how much He has done! Wow!

Thank you for your prayers!

Steve

  1. Wonderful to hear this, Steve. How important to be reminded of the many, many answered prayers in the past two years.

  2. Praise the LORD for all He has done and will do!

  3. Great post, Steve!
(I was wondering where you’ve been lately!)
    😉

You are so right; it is good to recount God’s blessings!
“Past Grace” helps us to eagerly await “Future Grace”!

    Still Praying!
