My dad always looked forward to heaven. I’m happy to know that he is there. Now he is experiencing God every single minute of every day. My dad is experiencing health that he never saw here on earth. I miss him but I know he’s happy. It makes me want to try my best with endurance for heaven. I know I’m going to heaven because Christ died. I’m excited for heaven because I’ll see God every day, I love the idea of talking to God…

  2. Oh, Ian!
    What a great post! I imagine when you get to heaven that your Dad will put his arm around your shoulder and present you to Jesus…because while your Dad was with you on earth he presented Jesus to you!
    Tomorrow is Thanksgiving…the day set aside to give thanks first and foremost to our Father in Heaven, and for ALL the blessings that we have, especially the blessing of His Son's redemption for us.
    I am so thankful to know you and your family and to see you live out your lives as great examples of Christianity.
    God bless you all and Happy Thanksgiving!

    Still Praying!

    Mary Ann K.

  7. Hi Ian!
    This is the first time I've commented but I've been reading for awhile. And praying, as well…I just want to say thank you for the post. Thank you for being a light. Your family's faith inspires and encourages my family.
    Love

  8. There'll be no sorrow there,
    no more burdens to bear,
    No more sickness, no pain,
    no more parting over there;
    And forever I will be
    with the One who died for me,
    What a day, glorious day that will be.

    What a day that will be
    when my Jesus I shall see,
    And I look upon His face,
    The One who saved me by His grace;
    When He takes me by the hand
    And leads me through the Promised Land,
    What a day, glorious day that will be.

  9. Ian,

    Yes ! God Himself is what makes it heaven. God is who we are looking forward to, and God is who helps us along the way.

    I will keep praying for you. BTW I am a friend of Brandon M and Ian L from Maryland.
