“ian, i’m really sad about leaving our house. are you?”
“yes, but a good sad.”
“what do you mean?”
“sad that we’re leaving but hopeful about the future.”
memories, memories, memories here – parties and a new life together and three roommates over two years and lots of laughing. one final farewell post and photo to come, but for now, trying to follow my husband’s lead and keep hopeful of the future.
thank you, for praying

  1. This verse came to mind as a result of Ians comment:"And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us."~Romans 5:5

  5. Peace dear Larissa

I would add something more to Ian's sound view of your going away,(rather not me,but Paul)

…For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come…

    I pray fot you both

May His grace be with you

I understand that Ian has a brain injury, but He seems to hit the nail on the head everytime about spiritual matters and being optimistic. He simply gets the big picture…We are all too focused on the details of that picture….but often miss what God is really showing us….Thanks to you both for perspective…

  8. You have no idea how your blog has inspired my life. I'm from Brazil and every single day I come here to read your posts and every single day God talks to me through it. Your life, Larissa, is an example to me and yours, Ian, is an inspiration. I pray for you two and I hope God keeps giving you the strength to keep going, knowing that the One who have started the good work, is faithful to complete it.
I don't phisically know you, but I love you.
    Love,
    Ligia

  9. I & L, It is like that for us here in Altoona. Leaving our old church building and heading to a new one. Sad; but happy. I think of the next move we will have from this earthly life to our forever life with God, our father and Jesus, our brother – in Heaven.
    Come Lord Jesus come Rene

  10. I just watched your video and I want to thank you so much for your example.
