Larissa,
I'm not usually a commenter or blogger, but the Lord reminded me of your request at the Phila seminar. What struck me the most out of both of your incredible testimonies is how Ian loved the Lord before his accident, and how he continued to love the Lord after. You found a man who is solid in the Lord, and in the two of you He is working a far more and exceeding weight of glory. I have struggled dating a man who has wonderful attributes but I feel does not have this love inside. When I heard your testimony, it shouted out, YES. This is the kind of man to marry! Sometimes we settle for less, and it sounds like you found a winner, Larissa! I loved hearing how much Steve loved the Lord and was a leader in the home. And Ian, I know how much you love your woman, and we all know why. Thanks for sharing your lives with us, Larissa. We were very very blessed.

Ian and Larissa,
Thank you so much for coming to the Heaven Conference this past weekend. You both were such a blessing to my heart. I am so excited to see what God is going to continue in you…(1Cor.15:58). I will continue to pray for you both and look forward to meeting you again someday…even if it may not be on this earth but in our future Home!! Sincerely, Nikki

Hello Larissa, Diligent servant of The Most High God! …and it came to pass 🙂 "Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men."~Proverbs 22:29

What an amazing story!! Was truly an inspiration and brought me to tears. I too was married to someone with a brain injury. I was able to relate to a lot of what you shared. The love the two of you have and share with God is amazing! You are a beautiful wifey (both inside and out) and we are so lucky that Ian shared you with us! Although my marriage was unable to endure the needs of someone with a brain injury, your story touched my heart and has helped me reflect and taught me a lot. You did a wonderful job speaking!

I hope you can come back! You have many friends in Philly!
Although fearful at times that the Father might require more than we imagine we can bear, let us take courage and hope in John’s gospel: "Jesus answered them, ‘The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Very truly, I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains just a single grain; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.’" May you continue to bear much fruit.
