gifts

By admin,

today’s gift is graduation of a brother and families to love. today’s gift is Ian driving his brothers in a golf cart around a golf course, finally able to be back on the greens after seven years.

today’s gift is sitting here on the porch as the nephew and nieces sleep, knowing that God has and continues love.

wow!

By admin,

you guys are the best. all of Ian’s paintings sold in 12 hours! Ian will be hard at work this week getting some more stuff ready for you guys! We’re going to start making prints, too. This was a totally spontaneous idea so it may take awhile to get a good collection started but we are so excited!

Thank you!

ian’s paintings

By admin,

ian opened a shop to start selling some of his art therapy paintings. all of the money he earns will pay for his therapy sessions where he’s learning to walk, which we’re now required to pay for privately. one painting sold pays for one day of therapy.

i love watching him paint. i love that he can paint. i love that he talks through each of his paintings and they mean something to him.

we hope you enjoy!

the little big things

By admin,

the wheelchair caught my eye last night, as it sat alone in the living room. I walked past and realized Ian wasn’t in it. Ian wasn’t in the room. Ian was walking through the kitchen with his walker and with Devon.

this little big thing, an empty room and an empty wheelchair, meant that Ian had left that room standing, and walking.

this little big thing reminds me that my husband still fights.

I love him.
