#walkbythirty

this past may was ian’s surgery that made his leg straighter. then we waited for it to heal. and then for insurance to approve his brace for walking.

now, he’s working on rehab.

this week, he didn’t use a cane at therapy. his therapist helped him by holding his waist, making his hips stay straight and assisting his balance when needed.

and that is huge.

he’s working hard.

  2. Dear Ian & Larissa,
Look at you two!!! God is so awesome! Thank you so many times over for sharing your lives, your love and your hopes and dreams! Never give up! Everyday love grows deeper and deeper with yourselves and mostly with God. I definitely know first hand all your going through! My Husband was in an industrial accident many many years ago.a friend sent me your testimony and told me,”Aunt Beany this is you and Uncle T” she is like my girl, which we never had any children but God has sent so many into our lives that are like our own! I’ve been told so many times to write a book also but alas as of yet have not.your young love still encourages me. Let me encourage you….Love NEVER fails…keep your eyes on Jesus, renew your mind heart and love daily! God will send people, children, experiences and a lot more in your lives to remind you of how special you are to each other! I was 22 and my husband 32 when he had his TBI….I am now 59 and he is 68….growing old together is fun! It still feels like the other day we got married and love is new! It’s been 41 years and still counting! I still see improvements all the time in little things but they are big things to us!
I will be praying for you….make sure you put positive people and things in your life! The devil would love to interrupt your perfect love for each other but remember he is the father of lies and greater is He that is in you!
God continue to bless you both! In Jesus Name!
Merry Christmas with love from Glenda & Thomas Dobbs
